This mark is from Dungeon Wroth, at the end of the Road to Wroth north of New Rigel.
Available for second classers and above, this mark requires locating the high priest of portal and using with sayto an orc phrase that will cause the high priest to open a portal a location. An example is 'Kukula Stalla Sumpa Hum' which is what most people have been using and it takes you to Dark's Emporium in Rune. However I have heard of it working with 'Ikanda Humba Hum' which takes you to the beginning of Dungeon Wroth. Here is a list of known phrases and where they will take you: Allegedly it was given randomly, so if you didn't receive it the first time you would need to run back to Dungeon Wroth and try again, and again, and again as necessary. Although, I now believe that the correct phrase that will trigger the mark is random and thus saying the same phrase over and over will only work when it is the correct phrase so it appears to be given randomly. When I got this mark it was rewarding a high number of practices. I received 90 for it, and a clan member of mine got almost twice that much from it.
Mark of Valkyjra and Gorgon Animator Run Why? Oh, why did I waste my time on this? I'll tell you why. So that others can benefit from my experiences. To begin, this mark can be received by a valkyrie of any level. All you have to do is kill the gorgon animator in the Lair of the Ice Witch enough times to obtain 5 vials of gorgon blood. Simple, right? This can be done solo, and its not in CPK, but it is tedious. First, you will need to purchase vials of unblessed holy water from the druid who hangs around outside Jalur Lumber Camp, or get them for considerably cheaper from the Holy Supplies store in Xaventry. You can only have 2 vials at a time per character. Also purchase a rope. This will come in handy later. Then, go to the Lair of the Ice Witch, near Jalur Lumber Camp on Avros. This area is a bit of a trick because it only will let in people of one class at one time. So, if a third classer enters then the area will not be accessible to anyone first, second, fourth, or archon class. It should however let in other third classers. For this reason, the ice witch is able to be killed by any class, because the difficulty is scaled. Pass through the lair and descend to almost the bottom until you come across the gorgon animator. After spelling her and yourself up I would recommend not casting any more spells. She doesn't respond well to aggressive magic. It makes her retaliate with stone cursing. If there's anything you want to avoid while killing her its being stone cursed. You can't avoid it entirely, unfortunately. If she does stone curse you in the course of the fight it may be for as little time as 2 minutes. The stone cursing itself doesn't hurt, but stops the fight. However, when she does stone curse you, there's a chance she will become bored with you, her newest statue, and shatter you causing instant death. This can be a problem if you are soloing her. However, if you bring one other person then that person can just stand there and move you out of the room when she stone curses you, which keeps her from having the chance to kill you. The only catch is that she gets harder to kill in proportion to the amount of form members you have. She is easiest to kill solo, but it is more risky. If you manage to kill her, then go around to all parts of the lair and kill any gorgonlings she may have created. The gorgonling have varied damage immunities, so have several different damage types available. Once they are all dead, you will be able to go into the treasure room at the very bottom of the lair. If they are not all dead, you will not be able to get into this room. Empty the water from the vials of unblessed water and fill them with gorgon blood from the puddle found here. If you kill her solo there will be enough gorgon blood to fill one vial. If you brought one person there will be enough for each of you to fill one vial a piece, for as many people that in the form. You will then need to kill her 4 more times. Just shoot yourself now. The rope, by the way, is to help you get out of the lair. Once you have filled the two vials you came with, go hand them in to Uy in Tellerium. When you are ready, hand in the last of the five vials.
Congratulations, you have just completed the most worthless mark ever next to the mark of Stupidity. There's no reward, and you better be prepared to never sacrifice a corpse ever again... not even by accident. I tested it out to see if the mark would stay once you sacrificed something... it didn't.
I certainly put getting this mark off long enough, but when the opportunity arose, I leapt at it. When two allies were killing it, I came to help them and get them to help me get it afterwards. I'm not very selfless, I guess. Anyway, to get this mark you need to solo Lord Simon Bloodbane on Irda Isle. He must not be blind when you land the killing blow, and you must be visible. Additionally, you must have at least 18 courage. This is available to third, fourth, and archon classes.
I'm using the term solo loosely here because your form can help you get him down to nearly dead and then you can get the mark by soloing him the rest of the way while they stand there healing you. This is a pretty straightforward mark, even though he is tough to kill, unless you're like me and have two other, much buffer, archons helping you. Thanks to Olgga and Anagon for helping me with this. Thanks also to Sedell for taking so long to kill it that it gave me a chance to show up. Obtainable by level 180 and above, this mark requires that you travel to the ends of the world, or what constitutes the ends of Alyria. This means travelling to the furthest corner of the map grid (2299, 1499) which is located near Atlantis. Upon entering the correct room, you must have at least 90% of your stamina. I... cheated, you could say. I didn't walk out there and I didn't have to sleep a lot to get my stamina up at the end... instead I flew my new broom out there, courtesy of the BRA (which is kind of like having a company car,) and used my sextant to get as close as possible to the right room. I was a little concerned about stopping the broom in the middle of the ocean, but it worked out fine. I snatched my broom up, and walked the rest of the way to the specified point. Once I got there, my stamina was too low. To solve that I went one room over and slept. Sleeping on the ocean prevents you from being buffeted by the wind. When my stamina was high enough, I woke up and crossed back over into the correct room.
Last night, after months of toil, I finally completed 500 crystal quests for Tadamir. I was psyched about getting rewarded a bunch of AP for completing this mark, only to find that they must have removed the possibility of getting AP somewhere between when I got the mark of Speed (for doing 50 crystal quests,) and when I got the mark of Respect (for doing 100 crystal quests.)
